The Labfit LOI-4000 automated Robotic Loss on Ignition system is designed for laboratories who need in excess of 1200, 4 stage LOI’s per day and that can operate on a 24/7 basis. The LOI-4000 Robotic Loss on Ignition system is able to achieve < 0.05% standard deviation across 40 samples, making our Loss on Ignition system not only fast, but accurate.

Advanced Loss on Ignition Softwareloss-on-ignition-method

The LOI-4000 automated Robotic Loss on Ignition system includes method bases configuration that allows for either a constant weight LOI or a Iteration based weight. Configuration of the software methods is straight forward with setting the desired method parameters and clicking “next”. Labfit has engineered the software to be as simplified as possible while maintaining all the key feature you would expect of a Loss on Ignition system. Entering samples into the system can be performed manually with the use of a bar-code scanner or by directly importing the samples from the Labfit LOI Weigh System.
The Labfit LOI-4000 automated Robotic Loss on Ignition system is capable of 4 stage LOI and temperatures for each furnace are controlled by method parameters. The system has a maximum operating temperature of 1100 °C with incorporates 2 low temperature and 2 high temperature furnaces. Because of the furnace duplication we are able to operate the LOI4000 in “tandem” mode thus doubling sample throughput. This tandem mode utilizes 1 low and 1 high temperature furnace to perform a 2 stage LOI. This is then performed in duplicate by the robot.
