Discrete Analyzer

Astoria-Pacific offers an incredibly versatile discrete system for its customers

The advantages of this system are numerous: multiple analyses can be run from a single sample with no physical changes to the system; the operator can select what analyses he/she would like to run on each sample; reagent consumption is even lower than our Astoria and Astoria2 systems; in-line dilution of above-range samples and in-line standards prep from a single stock standard are included; periodic maintenance is reduced because of the elimination of pump tubes, transmission tubing, dialysis membranes and the like; the software is more intuitive and provides complete control of the system’s components.

With a colorimetric detector, 40 place sample rack, a 10  place reagent tray, and quick analysis rates of up to 200 tests per hour, the discrete makes quick work of many common tests like Ammonia, Cyanide, Nitrate (by Enzymatic, Hydrazine or Vanadium), Nitrite, Phenol, OP, TKN, and Total Phosphorus. In the Wine Industry, common tests such as Acetic Acid, Ammonia, G+F, Malic Acid, NOPA and Total Sulfite can be run.

Its operating technology is unique in the market place, since it uses since it uses 1cm cuvettes both for mixing and determination. Essentially, 40 cuvettes work seamlessly with the analyzer’s detector to quickly run through your samples.  Co-ordinating the whole process, our rAPID software calculates the time for the analysis of each test and slates them for determination; tells the system to dilute any samples that might be out of range; generates reports of what data has already been collected; collects values for its integrated QC program; and also works in conjunction with the analyzer to monitor the viability of each reaction well and automatically “overlook” ones that don’t meet spec.

Created to optimize the ChemWell-T’s features, our rAPID-T software, calculates the time for the analysis of each test and slates them for determination; tells the system to dilute any samples that might be out of range; generates reports of what data has already been collected; collects values for its integrated QC program; and also works in conjunction with the analyzer to monitor the viability of each reaction well and automatically “overlook” ones that don’t meet spec.

The rAPID T is the perfect complement to the Astoria or Astoria2 analyzers. By bundling it with those systems, which can run tests that the discrete cannot (i.e. in-line distillation, in-line UV digestion, sub-ppb levels, etc.), a formidable analytical package will be at the operator’s fingertips.
